Synopsis:

Almost a year has passed since our last webisode. The reason for the COVID-19 pandemic. Lucky to have our ski lifts open at this time, we take the opportunity to stretch our legs at home in Switzerland, in Morgins.

As the installations are not all open yet, it’s the perfect opportunity for a nice ride in ski touring with some beautiful downhill runs between the trees. With the quantity of snow that has fallen over the last few days, it’s more cautious!

A very capricious weather which offers us moments of pure beauty. An incredible outing, full of sharing and laughter. We can’t wait to see what happens next.

Tuesday 29th December 2020, Morgins, -8°C, mist and snow. It’s winter! At a time when the world is in slow motion, between the festive season and the battle against COVID-19 which continues, Didier, Damien and me decide to take advantage of the recent snowfalls in the region.

But here we are, the connections are not yet totally prepared, it’s the perfect occasion for a little ski tour to arrive on our little playground of the day.

With a little thought for our French friends who, a few hundred metres away, do not have access to the ski area, we are making the most of our ascent.

We interrupt our ride for a few short passages in the middle of the pine trees. This time we are there, our season has really started. Arrived at the top, the wind is strong, it’s cold, we can’t see anything! Then begins the long way down from the Pointe de l’Au to Morgins. Some laughs in a snow a little heavier than expected, but the sensations are there.

Back to the resort, after a well deserved break in the forest to drink a small 7Peaks beer. We join the chairlift of La Foilleuse, few people, the sanitary measures are well respected. Thanks for that! We will then certainly still be able to enjoy our infrastructures during the winter.

A nice little chocolate la Ô in "take away" before a slope descent with the cotton legs…
